The atmosphere is very relaxed and the blackened catfish is very tasty. The house beers are delicious. Highly recommended.

Hush Puppies are amazing. Cuban sandwich is outstanding. Sweet potatoe fries... best out there. Worth the drive.

This restaurant is excellent! They have large portions, very tasty food and a nice variety. The atmosphere is fun and interesting. A real pleasure to eat there!

Hot Belly Mama's, Feb. 10th. 2008. Sunday lunch with my son.I had blackened catfish sandwich, sweet potato and rice. Washed down with a pint of seasonal porter. All were excellent. The service, quick and friendly.
I can recommend this resturant to anyone who likes good food and beer, and servers with personality.
Try it! Well worth your while.

The food is excellent and at a fair price, but the customer service here is hit and miss. My first dinner visit was spot on, but the 2nd was way off the mark. It took 10 minutes just to get the bill after asking for it. After the 10 minute mark I walked up to the cash and stood there until one of the servers noticed me. Everything else that visit was exceedingly slow. I know I am not at mcdonalds, but 20 minutes for the appetizers is stretching it a little.
