I agree - pretty disgusting.
Finger bowls for salt and pepper with the finger imprints of the previous diner clearly visible - nuf said!
Fabulous restaurant. Food is excellent, service is fantastic. Very small, intimate setting. I do not eat here enough, I wish I got here more often. One of the best restaurants in Peterborough.
I really enjoyed dining in this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The attention and accomodating nature of the owner and the server was beyond stellar. If you'd like a quiet venue to talk while eating, and a laid-back relaxing , home-like restaurant with class...this should be your pick.
Toby is an excellent chef with a soft spoken sociable personality. We always enjoy our dining out experiences here and recommend the wine tasting nights for quality and value.
We are regulars to the Electric City Gardens wine tasting (third Wednesday of the month)in which foods and wines are matched with a theme area of the world. In addition to generally tasting a white and 2 reds, you get a soup/salad course, main course and dessert - and generally there are two choices for each course. The food is always excellent and the wines very interesting. I would highly recommend this excellent experience.
