City Lights

The poutine is awful. The cheese is shredded. Enough said.

-service is usually fast and attentive they will go out of your way to make sure that your order is how you like it.
- many vegetarian options
-the poutine is a classic - lots of gravy, cheese (mozzarella or curds) and crispy fries. The small will fill you up, the medium is good to share and the large is ridiculous.

Definitely one of the best parts of downtown Peterborough. Great food, great staff (the employee mentioned unfavourably in the review below no longer works there.)

Awesome after hours food. The owner and the new staff are great and really friendly and like to joke with the customers I found. Poutine is amazing and always tastes good, best in town! Just wish they would have pizza on the menu soon!

I was not impressed with city lights. There is an extremely overweight employee there who does nothing. He does not work, he just sits there doing nothing but stare at the customers coming in. Once in a while he will make a rude comment to thin people telling them not to eat.

City Lights is an sensational little shop nestled in the downtown area of Peterborough ON, with its refreshing smells of that trademark gravy that is oh so wonderful or the friendly faces of the works and of course the hardest working owner in Peterborough Mike City Lights should be and will be around for years to come!! Pizza rolls there are great but the poutine is truely the cats _ _ _ !!!
